When I first got to Paris I thought I didn't belong here. I thought I had no creativity what so ever. I thought school killed my child like creativity. When I came to Paris I was reborn.
Paris is the place where I first learned about love. Paris is the place where I learned about death. Paris is where I learned a thousand different uses for a brick. Paris is where I first wrote because I actually wanted to instead of some English teacher making me.
My mom is from California and she always says "you can take the girl away from California, but you can't take California from the girl." I feel the same way about Paris "you can take the writer away from Paris but you can't take the Paris away from the writer."
Thanks Mr. Nelson for taking me to Paris
